There is never any shame in sharing one’s spotlight (or blog) with the words and wisdom of others who’ve inspired us. Sort of like the “Moment of Zen” John Stewart has at the end of each Daily Show episode. Cheers!
This is what suckered me into this life. Vonnegut was the first author who I thought was writing just for me (stupid kid). To quote an erudite soul-
“later.”
I found “Breakfast of Champions” on a bus, and spent the rest of the trip lauging out loud, which I rarely did. It was that personal connection he could create, making me feel I was the only person he’d written it for,

And King of Skyscraper National Park, also? That was that book, I think. I’ve read all his books so many times some of the fine points have mushed together like a Tralfamadorian book.

As a commercially responsible adult, I found Jailbird to be a guide for success. I actually rose to head a division of Ramjac Corp
